Murdoch hedges his bets

Thus endeth the VRWC. Newsbusters is aghast and Kos is probably ready to light himself on fire. A little Googling reveals that when it comes to campaign contributions, Murdoch is no stranger to Democratic candidates generally and Democratic Senators from New York in particular. But why spoil a good strange-bedfellows story with facts?

Admittedly, a fundraiser is different from a perfunctory $1,000 goodwill donation.
Wouldn’t you love to see the guest list? Al Franken and Bill O’Reilly eyeing each other cagily from across the room? A bad time was had by all!

I don’t really care about this story, I just wanted a peg for my photoshop about Hillary’s bullcrap adolescent-Olympic-dream story. Go for the gold, babe.

Let em have it.

That’s the scariest thing I’ve ever seen. Is that the Greenpeace Olympic uniform Hill has on? Or is that the United Nations one?

Rick on May 9, 2006 at 2:17 PM

Hillary as president. Hmm. Maybe I can change residences in Canada with all the liberals that left the USA when Bush was elected. Sort of a house-swap deal, like time sharing.

Oh, for God’s sake! Why does the media persist in taking anything the Clintons say at face value? These liars are notorious for spewing the most inane garbage, yet their allies in the media always print the statements up like God handed them down on Sinai.

I still believe Red Hilly’s dreams of White House glory died when those planes soared into the World Trade Center. We shall see, apparently. Maybe if the election falls through for her, she can take up the luge?

Be afraid, be very afraid. Lest we all forget the Clinton legacy, let me refresh your memories:

- The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance
- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly
- First president sued for sexual harassment.
- First president accused of rape.
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation
- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case
- First president to establish a legal defense fund.
- First president to be held in contempt of court
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad
- First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court
- Number of individuals and businesses associated with the Clinton machine who have been convicted of or pleaded guilty to crimes: 47
- Number of these convictions during Clinton’s presidency: 33
- Number of indictments/misdemeanor charges: 61
- Number of congressional witnesses who have pleaded the Fifth Amendment, fled the country to avoid testifying, or (in the case of foreign witnesses) refused to be interviewed: 122

SPEW alert??? Too late…you all owe me a keyboard and writing instruments. Totally ruined!

Seriously, (after I cleaned up the chunks, that is) we have discussed this till we are blue in the face…the overriding opinion at the Beach front home is that she cannot be elected. She has too much baggage. What do you think will happen when she gets on stage and he is there?….to use an old comment…he will just “suck the oxygen out of her message.” It took me a while to see it this way, but this pig cannot ever be president. The Democrat Party is nuts to nominate her and, frankly, I think they are scared to do so. Remember the 900 FBI files, the Whitewater Scandal and the failed health care issue, just to mention a few. AND has anybody ever hear her screeching voice when she gives a speech??? Friends they have, in high places, but their enemies are legion. They will come out of the woodwork against her…look at what is happening right now, and she is not even close to the 2008 election year.
Scared? I am, a bit..but when I put intelligent thinking on this…nope!! she will not be president nor will she get a nomination.

Sandys Beach on May 9, 2006 at 3:40 PM

…and another thing…that picture looks like she was crowned emperor of France. She was horrid as (ugh) First Lady and someone thinks she will make a good president?? Are you nuts?!?!? Keep thinking Animal Farm for further details.

I have a few more about the Clintons in the Oval Office:
It’s worth reading and passing along. Remember:

OTHER MATTERS INVESTIGATED BY SPECIAL PROSECUTORS
AND CONGRESS, OR REPORTED IN THE MEDIA

Bank and mail fraud, violations of campaign finance laws, illegal foreign campaign funding, improper exports of sensitive technology, physical violence and threats of violence, solicitation of perjury, intimidation of witnesses, bribery of witnesses, attempted intimidation of prosecutors, perjury before congressional committees, lying in statements to federal investigators and regulatory officials, flight of witnesses, obstruction of justice, bribery of cabinet members, real estate fraud, tax fraud, drug trafficking, failure to investigate drug trafficking, bribery of state officials, use of state police for personal purposes, exchange of promotions or benefits for sexual favors, using state police to provide false court testimony, laundering of drug money through a state agency, false reports by medical examiners and others investigating suspicious deaths, the firing of the RTC and FBI director when these agencies were investigating Clinton and his associates, failure to conduct autopsies in suspicious deaths, providing jobs in return for silence by witnesses, drug abuse, improper acquisition and use of 900 FBI files, improper futures trading, murder, sexual abuse of employees, false testimony before a federal judge, shredding of documents, withholding and concealment of subpoenaed documents, fabricated charges against (and improper firing of) White House employees, inviting drug traffickers, foreign agents and participants in organized crime to the White House.

FROM THE WASHINGTON TIMES: In the portions of President Clinton’s Jan. 17 deposition that have been made public in the Paula Jones case, his memory failed him 267 times. This is a list of his answers and how many times he (Clinton) gave each one.

At least ten reporters have been fired, transferred off their beats, resigned, or otherwise gotten into trouble because of their work on the scandals.

On his very last day in office, Bill Clinton pardoned Marc Rich and his partner-in-crime Pincus “Pinky” Green. A whole lot of Democrats just want the whole episode to pass. Not hard to see why.

So, Murdoch is hosting a fundraiser for the reelection campaign of Satan’s Prom Queen? Is he crazy like a “Fox”? Perhaps, Rupert IS a sly old fox.

Fox News Channel began leaning to the left a while back. I still tune in, but a bit less frequently. The screeching of libs and the overtalk by all is tiresome.

doingwhatican on May 9, 2006 at 6:33 PM

“I may not have been the greatest president, but I had the most fun eight years.”

An actual quote from Billy Jeff in August 2000.

While keeping an eye on who was between his legs, he allowed the plotting and planning of the Islamofascists.

doingwhatican on May 9, 2006 at 7:27 PM

Great post, doingwhatican..i had forgotten that little line. I am sure he had the most fun…he canoodled while the Islam scum planned the demise of the towers. Nero fiddled while Rome burned, just to draw some analysis. Anyone who votes for this hag is out of their minds but we have seen some pretty bad people elected to office. I said it on another site…the people get the government they deserve. Direct quote from Winston Churchill. That is the truth, ain’t it???

Sandys Beach on May 9, 2006 at 7:35 PM

Great list from Great White.
I would like to add one more ‘lest you forget’;

Nobody thought this witch could be elected senator from New York either but there she is. What is going to be interesting is to see if she can get nominated without having to answer any hard questions. So far she has managed to pick and choose her questioners and avoided anybody who would really nail her for the fraud that she is. How about Michelle as the interviewer?

OBX Pete on May 10, 2006 at 9:39 AM

Is it just me or does she look like Cynthia McKinney, what with them eyeballs all bugged out! Or, maybe place just one eye in the middle of her forehead and she can be one of the three witches from Greek mythology who had to share one eyeball.

By the way, good posting Great White. I think its funny that a Judge that Slick Willy appointed took his law license away.
