It’s apparent that the Libs have found another right in the Constitution that nobody knew was there for 200 years – the right to be thought of as funny (even if you’re not).

As for Colbert…..the man just was not funny and messed up.

And to boot was saved by a gracious GW Bush.

My wife, after watching the latest edition of Michelle Malkin on Vent asked, “Is Dave Screwtape the Republican Steven Colbert” in reference to the comedian who spoke at the White House Correspondents Dinner.

I think Colbert’s absence-of-mention in a few big MSM outlets can be traced to a single simple fact(let’s not forget Occam’s [SP?] razor here, folks): It wasn’t his best material.

If Colbert is constantly saying stuff he doesn’t believe in, that’s fine. He’s a satirist, for Pete’s sake, and more than a blush better at satire than Al Franken is, in my opinion. But you go with what works, right? And I think Colbert made the horrible miscalculation of showing his true colors, that’s all.

Did they really WIN it? Or did the french just not show-up one day?

Does mexico ALSO have national celebrations for not-rolling-out-of-bed? Or not-tripping-over-the-curb?

I disagree with BrunoMitchell, I received my “HOT AIR” BALLCAP this week and it arrived in great shape and the quality’s fine.

The price is VERY reasonable for such a nice cap. I have a large collection of hats and can spot a cheap one from a good one.

I consider it money well spent (to support you) and love to wear mine.

Colbert wasn’t his funniest last Saturday, but he has made me laugh at loud at least once or twice with some his work on the Daily Show.

Oh I forgot, it’s far braver to ridicule the president to his face knowing that there won’t be any consequences, rather than insult the “religion of peace” and perhaps meet a jihadist who might take issue with you.

Considering the moonbat’s craven dhimmi submission to islamic self-censorship, for them to boast about this lackwit’s “bravery” is pure unadulterated hypocrisy.

I think it was a combination of poorly written jokes and most of the people in the audience realizing that they’ve heard the same Bush bashing jokes before….

I watched the whole video of that Whitehouse Correspondents diner, and it is easy to tell why the MSM blacked it out….Colbert totally BOMBED! It was embarrassing! I laughed only at how bad he was! Haha!
