MM showed up on F&F this morning to talk reconquista with Steve, E.D., and Brian, who were kind enough to mention this site at the end of the segment. Video follows. If you’re new to Hot Air, here’s our Vent on the subject from yesterday. And here’s the audio of Fox reporter Tony Valdez hitting all the MEChA talking points in his interview with John and Ken of 640 KFI-AM in Los Angeles; Michelle mentioned it in passing on F&F so some folks are probably looking for it.
Finally, I’m pleased to note that we received our first racist e-mail this morning shortly after Michelle’s segment finished airing. “Slopes go home,” writes Raul from San Antonio. Viva Aztlan!

Kiss my slope, Raul.
And a hearty Huzzah! for the return of Allahpundit from a long-time fan! Have you checked out your old URL, lately? Ick.

Saw Michelle this morning on Fox and Friends. It is ALWAYS great to see Michelle on TV and she did a great job explaining the Reconquistador situation in the amount of time alloted to her.
And I hope you guys got to see Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, AZ on how he is dealing with illegal aliens and what is involved. Strange how Sheriff Arpaio has not trouble enforcing the law, but most other law enforcement agencies DO HAVE trouble enforcing the law.

Ah, the first stones are cast from the outraged left, eloquently refuting the truth. Hopefully the first of many. Great job again, Michelle. Keep up the good work!

Now playing… Michelle Malkin vs. MEChAGodzilla!
My idea for the first-ever Hot Air art contest: draw your vision of a major Southwestern American city 50 years after Mexico has reclaimed it.
I’m thinking Early Post-Apocalyptic Chic.

Great job Michelle! And kudos also to Fox & Friends for giving you plenty of time (and not interupting) so that you could clearly explain the gravity of the situation to a TV audience.
Steve, Brian, and E.D. showed real class and I’m thrilled they mentioned “HotAir.com” on the air (several times!)
I hope the site visits continue to grow and grow.
I received my Ball Cap and bumper stickers yesterday and am proud to display them everywhere I go.
Give me “Hot Air” or give me GAS!!

Malkin TV would be a good idea, hence the popularity of this site. Hopefully somebody at Fox will also realize this soon. Or maybe Michelle has gotten offers in the past? Not that I would be surprised if she did. She speaks eloquently, does her own research, and is not exactly hard on the eyes. If she just had some kind of weird lisp, accent, cadence or speech impediment, I’d go as far as to say that she was genetically engineered to be a 21st century talking head.
Put her up against Nancy Grace’s timeslot, see what happens.

I tried to trackback but it didn’t seem to take. I have a transcript of this posted at Musing Minds.

Isn’t Michelle quite a girl. I don’t know how she manages to do everything she does and have any time for a private life. She is articulate, smart and does a fantastic job of projecting what most (if not all) of us think. Thanks Michelle and the others who maintain this site and keep up the good work.

Right on, OBX Pete. She is also a raging babe! :^D

This San Antonian would like to apologise for the stupidity of “Raul”. Michelle is a superwoman – intelligent, articulate, able to juggle family, writing, blogging… and a babe, to boot! Raul is nekulturney. Just my opinion…

I liked Michelle’s presentation today. Very professional, factual, straightfoward. There have been times in the past where I felt her articles were so sarcastic and spewing venom that they lost thier effectiveness. I think Ann Coulter goes over the top too many times. The lefties stay over the top all the time. Since 9/11 watching the media wars and now the blogosphere wars between left and right I have tried to identify the principles of effective communication that lead to a spirit of community (similar to the process our founding fathers went through). I’ve looked to the Bible for principles as well: Seek the truth, submit to one another, count others better than yourselves, do what leads to mutual edification.
If our communication forums degenerate into anarchy, communication ceases and force must be used to regain a civil forum for communication. Prior to that, we have to keep the quality of our relationships a higher priority than winning the points of our debate. Just under that priority, however, must be education, logic, reasoned, communication with a respect for each other. Mischell is coming close to that mark with just enough sarcastic ridicule of the left perk their attention, and passionately persuasive when our actions are ridiculous. She was one of the first after 9/11 to be screaming in the media about the insanity of our border situation, and I think one of the most influential in this country in making it a national issue.
Keep it up — you go girl!!

Bravo Michelle! Keep fighting the good fight! And for those not familiar with the South-West… a number of federal funded groups are working to make the US southwest a part of Mexico. It’s called UNIVERSITY! Where I’m from it’s treason. Arnold.. please fix it! Please!

Kudos to Fox News for allowing you to speak facts and giving you enough time to state your points.
