The White House needs to instruct the CIA to take out Ahmadinejad on the grounds of national security. The man needs to be dead. Hopefully that will stop the whole program at the cost the life of the most worthy one to die. Then the word will be made clear to the rest of the Iranians with similar ambitions, the same fate awaits them should they try continue with the program.

Send in the assassination squads now.

The two previous posts above are right. Iran is a country that harks back to a time when it sort of controlled a small area of the middle-East but a summary of its ‘proud’ history is an embarassment.

Someone mention to the camel-shaggers if they remember the little battle they had with the Athenians (circa 450BC) when one million Persians where defeated by, wait for it, 300 Greeks! And, got a good whipping too!

Then the Crusaders happened by and smacked them around. Then the Brits, then Saddam, etc etc. Basically, their war history proves they are a bunch of limp-dicks in battle and since they are incapable of winning a conventional war, the nuke is their salvation.

We must ensure they never get the nuke. Write to your representatives, senators, phone them, do whatever it takes to make your feelings known that you do not want to see Iran in possession of a nuke.

Gary, we can thank the lefty media for giving lran the impression that we’re weak. On the bright side it may make them overconfident.

This is the same regime that sent lranian children into the mine fields ahead of the army to clear a path during their 8 year war with a country that we defeated in 3 weeks.

Was that Video produced by 5th graders? I can stand on stage and yell to my heart’s content too.. Here’s the analysis: Islamists always underestimate the military power and fortitude of the west. They can scream their prophets name all they want, the truth is they will rattle the sabres and then run and hide. Iran has no idea what they are dealing with. I plead to the educated people in Iran to stop this nonesense! You are balancing on a mushroom cloud. Your government is checking all the blocks for a first strike initiation. It may be two years down the road but it will happen. It’s your funeral! Please.. for the children.. stop it now! A nuclear Iran is not an option. Regardless of what anyone may think.

On the lighter side, anyone know if the mother of all broadcasters, oh impartial-of-impartials, Al Qaeda, oops my bad, Al Jazeera TV station, carried the ‘performance’ of the Ahmadinejad troupe.

Probably not because it did not involve the kidnapping of a hostage or a beheading or some Israeli soldier firing at terrorists in Gaza.

Iran, 3000 years of history and this is the best they can do?

The way the game is beginning to play itself out in the Security Council we have everyone on board bar the two re-born ultra-capitalists of this century, China and Russia.

Since both are opposed to any strong action against Iran, and Russia is actually building the plants, I foresee a future in which Iran may become largely self-sufficient on nuclear electricity and will then be able to use its oil reserves as bargaining chips and blackmail against the West to force action on Israel.

The simple truth is this: people with greed in their eyes i.e. China and Russia who want to amass wealth now and say stuff the future, must be protected from themselves.

It looks like the West will have to force the Iranians via force if need be to put an end to the stand-off with a very third-rate third-world country.

I don’t what we are waiting for.

Many people, world over, assume that since they buy most of their electronics from Asia, that the United States is weak in modern technology. Truth of the matter is that most of the advanced technology that is now being commericalized was developed over 25 years ago in different US military programs. It is a great deal easier to do high-tech now, but the machines that make chips are primarly built in Silicon Valley and Japan. With Asia providing first rate comsumer electronics, it allowed engineers in this country to work on defense technology, second to none. In fact, the second most powerful military in the world would be everyone else put together. Iran is a joke that plays for the home crowd.
