Aztlan is a dream of losers to take back lands Castilian-Mexicans stole from Native Americans.
Palestine is a dream of losers to take back lands Muslims stole from Jews.
The parallel is glaring and the communist, islamist, maoist International ASWER, funded by Saudi money, is providing the organization to promote Mohammed’s techniques of Islamic expansion.
However, this bunch of losers underestimated the power of modern technology. Vlogs! Michelle Malkin and the rest of modertn civilization will expose these sleathering Thamnophis eques and Echis carinatus serpenteses to sunlight and show them to the world for what they are.

More obfuscation of the central issue here. As they say, the best defense is a good offense so people who object to ILLEGAL immigration are branded as xenophobic, racist Latino-haters. Their only shot in this debate is to use as much incendiary “you’re dehumanizing us” talk as possible because the central issue is so ridiculously absurd.
Please, come to our country! LEGALLY! But don’t come here illegally and then walk out into the sunlight to protest holding a sign that says, “I’m not a criminal” because guess what, yes you are.

Wow. Great rant today Michelle! You convinced me. While I continue to believe that Reconquista is a uniquely Mexican problem, I can see it certainly is not a fringe movement.
I’ll be blogging about this right now…

Dear Sir,
I am writing to you to register my strong disapproval of your most recent disgraceful capitulation to the Musselman fanatics and their ilk.
I speak from a certain wisdom and authority, which I fear is lacking in today’s youth and newsmen. I have had first hand dealings with these Musselmen and realize the dire threat they pose to our Great Republic and our relations as Gentlemen with our fairer sex.
Many a time in my youth, I would peruse the magazines and newspapers as I lounged about, socializing with the hoi-polloi of my community. Moreover, although certainly we choose to be in mixed company with Gentlemen and Ladies (”Flappers”, to use the parlance of our time), at no time did we ever forget our social etiquette. Even in the underground saloons and speakeasies of Prohibition, certain proprieties were maintained.
However, I was not to be confused with any Little Lord Fauntleroy. As a youth, I grew up hearing my Grandfather telling me tales of the vicious deprivations of the Barbary Pirates and their cruel ways. He was a retired Sailor, and spun most enchanting yarns indeed. Latter, as a man, trouble came upon our peaceful island nation, and we found ourselves thrust into battle against the Afghan tribes men. I will never forget those times as I served with General William Elphinstone in the first Anglo-Afghan war. They will remain for-ever seared into my brainpan. One of the many things I used to dream about, whilst surrounded by bearded Afghanis and their cloaked womenfolk with their fearsome undulating cries, was the thought of my immortal beloved’s fair and radiant face. How I yearned to see it again! How crushed I was when I received the postage letter from her mother, informing me of her untimely demise from the dreaded pestilence of Consumption. Are you surprised by my tears, Sir? Strong men also cry. Strong men also cry.
Upon my return to Blessed Civilization’s sweet embrace, I vowed to remain forever vigilant against any sort advances of these treacherous Musselmen into our Great Republic. I take second place to no man in my commitment to this cause.
I have followed this “Hot Air” journal and found it to be a well-written publication. Now all of that has changed, I fear, as you seem to feel the need to submit to the most preposterous demands of any common two bit naer-do-well named Muhammad Ali or Muhammad Said, or whatever name is in their favour. In my time, I never thought I would see the day when these demands would be so meekly submitted to without ever the slightest hint of shame.
I of course am referring to your cladding your Miss Malkin according to the demands of the Musselman dress codes. When this publication was first created last week, your Miss Malkin felt free to cloth herself according to the dress of the youth of this country. She wore a shirt that was short sleeved and felt no fear to do so. Now all of that has changed. Evidently, you and your staff received some sort of ominous correspondence last Friday; whether by the postmaster, or by telegram, I know not; and the demands of the Musselman were plain to deduce. The Musselman was offended by this provocative display of feminine charms and demanded that they be covered. And submit you did, forcing your newsgirl Miss Malkin to wear a much more modest set of attire, namely that sweater.
Sir, have you lost your sense of honour and manly pride? If we are to allow the Musselman to dictate to us how we have our newsgirls attired, what will be next? Will their next demand be that Miss Malkin be wearing that full-length burka? Was this Great Republic of ours really better served by your cringing servile nature? I shudder to think of the risk you have exposed our children and women folk to.
Sir, I warn you in advance. Do not try any sort of editorial trickery on me. I will not be fooled by any sort of protestation that the air was chilled that morn, or that your stove has gone cold due to the lack of heating coal. The warming rays of the sun and the wisdom of the Old Farmers Almanac reveal this to be untrue.
Sir, I am sure that I speak for both myself and the majority of your readers when I say the following to you. I demand that you cease to order Miss Malkin to wear that sweater, or any sort of such similar clothing against her will. Our noble suffragists, controversial as they may be to some, have come too far to allow one of their sisters to be so oppressed and poorly treated.
I fear the direction our Great Republic is going Sir. I fear it greatly.
Yours truly,
Colonel Hiram Horatio Cushenberry, 4th Dragoons Battalion, 127th Regiment, Retired
EFG on May 3, 2006 at 11:24 AM
Dear Sir.
My manservant has just informed me that things have changed at your publication. I would just like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your newfound courage as a gentleman and publisher. I refer of course, to your decision to allow Miss Malkin to wear the lovely red coloured shirt she did today, as opposed to the vile, burka-like garment you had her wearing yesterday, no doubt due to the predatory threats of the Musselman who seems intent upon bringing the rule of Islam and his prophet Muhammad to our Great Republic. Cheers to you and your newfound courage in refusing to bend to the demands of these Islamic wild men.
Ahh, to look upon the fair countenance of your newsgirl Miss Malkin brings back fond memories. Alas, I am in the icy hands aged decrepitude, and will soon shuffle off this mortal coil. Truly, this is the Winter of My Discontent! I shall now have my manservant wheel me back to my chambers where I shall rest before my fireplace and contemplate this further in the gloom of old age in hopes of borrowing from my books surcease of sorrow. Yet to look upon the face of the lovely Miss Malkin brings back memories, yes fond memories for the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore–
Nameless here for evermore.
Now I must bid you all a final adieu, alone with my thoughts, and this wretched raven, which has seen fit to infest my house, perched above my chamber door.
Yours truly,
Colonel Hiram Horatio Cushenberry, 4th Dragoons Battalion, 127th Regiment, Retired

They take our kindness for weakness. They have declared war on America as well as all people of European descent. Do we acknowledge this as the direct threat it is? Or do we ponder why they hate us some more?
Gault on May 3, 2006 at 11:34 AM
Dear JP_Smith
My name is Hieronymus B. Stanton. I am the manservant of Colonel Cushenberry. I am the one who posted the above messages upon the command of my Master. Pay no heed to him, as he is an aged gentleman who is prone to dozing off, and suddenly waking up with demands for letters and telegrams to be sent to Prime Ministers and Princes of Countries and Potentates that no longer exist.
I fear he responded rather negatively to this mornings colonic, and has been ill-tempered ever since. However, we have given him a double dose of his medicines, and he is now slumbering away in his wheelchair. After I finish this dispatch to you, I shall check upon him and wipe his chin as necessary to clean off the discharge of drool.
I apologize for any disturbance the Colonel has wrought upon your message board. I shall endeavor not to trouble you Gentlemen further. However, the wishes of the Colonel are my command, as he has both the power of the purse string, and the unpleasant habit of using a ceremonial walking staff as a cudgel upon my poor frame as a way of expressing his displeasure if his correspondence is not delivered promptly to publishers of newspapers who displease him.
Your Obedient Servant,
Hieronymus B. Stanton

I fear that lots of good, hard working and God fearing Mexican immigrants are going to get smeared with a bad name on account of “radical illegals” in all of this. And it certainly isn’t that we are lacking compassion for hard working families trying to better their own, and their families lives. So how about the government asks whoever is actually hiring these people to sign a voucher for those that they recognize as good hearted and hard working, but illegally here, Mexicans, and we give out Visa’s to work here to them and their families, and round up and ship back all the rest? Well, guess we would have to actually have CONTROL of the borders before doing that though, AND we would have to make certain that whoever actually signed for each person continued to employ them.
Whoa, a whole new “department” for government, Democraps ought to love the idea. Of course, like any other government agency, it would be so awash in red tape, equal opportunity, corruption, and stupidity it’d be impotent. And the idea of somehow making people who broke our laws to come here into Democrat voting citizens, well, Republicans had better fight that at all costs.
You almost have to wonder, is it too late? Are we doomed already by circumstances and the sedition of decades of liberal minds here? Are we really just in the fast lane to being in the same sorry state as British SUBJECTS rather than what we “think” we are, American “citizens”?
Where is the hope? I don’t see it ANYWHERE in the current crop of politicians. Will a real God fearing, America loving, leader step forward, or should we just wait for the inevitable…

It is a very sad commentary on our society that the true historical facts about the formation of our country are unknown. However, it is not surprising. If not for my own efforts to study the facts of history, I would be stuck with the dismal education I received in high school.
Another sad observation: Every time I am engaged in a ‘discussion’ with one of my liberal-minded peers, it’s like speaking to a 4 year old who has pulled the stick-fingers-in-ears-and-say-”la-la-la-la”-trick. They will not listen to anything that contradicts what they have chosen to believe.
Only one thought came to mind as I watched the coverage of Monday’s protests–This is just a very large scale display of penis envy. The fomenters of discord are none other than this generation’s soldiers of communism. Despite its faults, our society is everything that communism has never and never will measure up to. Illegal immigrants are just the latest ‘down-trodden pawn’ in communism’s age-old revolution game plan.

As I wrote in another post, “Are hispanics not also of European stock?” Unless they are “puro indio” they have Spanish blood in them and therefore also European. Didn’t I read or see where one of them pro-illegal alien aztlan recoquistadores say, “Go back to Europe”?
They need to check their history, facts, and heritage before spewing drival.
LRP
LurP on May 3, 2006 at 12:34 PM
NRA4Freedom, you put your finger on a good point, but the current protests are a result of simply allowing them to work here, no matter how well-intentioned they are. I think you’d find also that even many of the well-intentioned hard workers would still have more loyalty to the ‘radicals.’
This is what happened in Europe with people allowed to come in and work without pursuing citizenship. As long as we let people get away with coming here just to get a job and send all their money back home, it isn’t going to get better.
We need to stop the bleeding at the border, and make it clear that anyone who wants to come here must come here to be an American, not a leech.

I just looked at the Mexica weblink above, and was amazed. If it were not such a serious issue, it would be a grand joke, because they have all the typical leftist acoutrements: An exhortation to be open-minded followed by racist vitriol and incredible lies and wild claims. (I did find the brief bit about Haliburton building camps hilarious)

Jezla, I certainly see your point. But what it seems like is that everyone wants to come here, and NOT become “Americanized”. Heck, even many of our American citizens want to call themselves ___________(fill in the blank)AMERICANS. I agree with you in part, I’d say IF they are not coming here to actually become Americans, then they need to maybe fill in for whatever jobs need doing(at least that’s why democrats are saying they are here) temporarily, and then LEAVE?

Take back..my patoot! Our dear departed dad used to say that EVERYTHING IS SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST. When Columbus risked his life to find a new route what he discovered was a land of savages. They did not have the wheel..had no domesticated animals, and were far behind the Europeans in their culture in every way. Most were nomads. So, what do they want back? They were too stupid and lazy to know what to do with what they had…it took the European culture to bring a better way of life to the inhabitants. They were still cannabilizing each other for religious sacrifices, for crying out loud. Even still today there are parts of South America that are still in the dark ages. AGAIN???TAKE BACK WHAT AND DO WHAT WITH IT??? The same thing that is still occurring in their wonderful Mexico….go back there and civilize whatever is left after the COMMIE government has bled you dry. TAKE BACK MY…. These “reconquistadors” really kill me. What would happen if the did take over the southwest? What would they do with it? Turn it into another hell hole mexico? We should move every industry and business from the southwest, plant trees and boulders on every farm, remove any public utility such as electric, gas, water and sewer, dismantle all ports, level every high rise and hospital……..then say here ya go, have at it. They’d have to hire “whitey” to come back and tell them what to do.
I really don’t think they’ve thought too far ahead. Plus, don’t they know all the benefits their “hombres” are getting now for free would vanish? They’re gonna pick up the tab? Yeah, right.

Well, the same thing goes for Israel. Have no idea which side we are all on..and I, for one, don’t have a clear understanding of what has happened in that land…I claim a bit of ignorance here..but it is the same damned thing. The Palestinians want the Jews out…they made an Oasis out of desert..water flows and farms flourish were none had before. The Pals want the Jews out…to take it back and make a waste land out of it? SHEESH!!!!! I think this is what thousands of years of inbreeding get you…shallow thinking, for starters.

Great vent, Michelle.
Gee, if the Mexicans want to abdicate the peace treaty, perhaps we should resume the war and re-annex Mexico. We could do a much better job managing the natural resources and distributing the wealth to the Mexican people.
dman on May 3, 2006 at 5:34 PM
Overall, not a bad Vent.
However I think it blazed through the historical stuff at the end too fast…
I really do think that another Vent should slow down a tad - cover the details a little more - using recognized historians as the commentators or authoritative emphasis.
Let’s have a Vent in other words that just covers the history - and add to it the fact that many people claim the Southwest - but only two parties have a valid claim.
Native American INDIANS (which most Mexicans are not - and those that are were not from the Southwest) and the United States of America.
=8-)
mrrabbit on May 3, 2006 at 5:36 PM
Typical socialist pattern. Let the capitalists build it and make the progress and they will shame us into giving it to them so they can run it down.
The rising socialist movement in Bolivia, Venuzuela, Cuba and possibly Mexico are frightening.
I heard Castro said that his economy was growing at 12%. 12% of 0 is still 0.
Wil on May 3, 2006 at 6:08 PM
It’s becoming clear that this wave of illegal immigration is a form of invasion by Mexico. A few illegals is an unfortunate situation, but 12 million illegals is an invasion - a completely different problem. It’s ironic that we have the most powerful military in the world, but lack the will to stop an invasion by unarmed Mexicans.
The future of the country is at stake. At this point, the odds are that we will become the United States of Mexico. Unless a lot more American citizens wake up, the Mexican conquest of the United States will succeed.
Oh well, America was nice while it lasted.

Gee - I thought anyone can be a racist. How silly of me. This dingbat says people of color - like her - are incapable of it.
Hmm… so they must be incapable of any ‘white’ vices. People of the holy hyphen are so perfect - and so un-American to boot.
WC on May 3, 2006 at 7:13 PM
First and foremost, “white” is a color, even for half-breeds like me, so to speak.
The rise of socialist/communist ideology is on the rise and from what I have seen recently, I am more convinced of it. Notice since from last summer, many people have been wearing Che Guevara (Castro and Mao, for that matter) action wear which includes not only T-shirts, but ties, jackets, and women’s purses. I have noticed Che’s image etched in the rear windows of cars and trucks. I even saw a girl lift up her T-shirt on 7th Ave near Carnegie Hall to show her boyfriend a Che Guevara tatoo on her left (very appropriate place) boob.
And remember what Wil mentioned-the rising socialist movement in Bolivia, Venezuela, and possibly Mexico.
As far as Mexico is concerned, this is a movement of el reconquistador. Michelle’s vent today concerning Mexico and the USA is important. AND I CERTAINLY FEAR THAT MANY OF OUR SELF-CIVIL SERVANTS WILL GO ALONG WITH THIS BOWEL MOVEMENT. Oye mei, Senior Gov Arnold y Senior Alcade de Los Angeles…escuches?
If possible, everyone should try to record her vent on cassette tape.

So what can we do locally about all this. I can’t go be a minuteman in Texas. How can I be a minuteman in a non border state? I have contacted my government representatives. Can I file complaints or report illegal immigrants? Will anything be done? What do I say to the populations of immigrants who are being ministered to by our local churches? Do I show them the biblical passages that instruct us to obey authorities and the laws of the land and oppose ministry to illegals? I can’t see that being effective. Can anyone point me to a website that gives me practical steps to take? Can we make a website that tells us what to do?

As a bartender I think that the backlash has begun. Many people are commenting “they had them in one place, why didn’t they just round them up and send them home.” I know that they couldn’t, and most people who say such things know that as well, but there is a lot of anger. The party that runs on stricker controls will be the party that wins.
By the way, I love the shirts that Michelle wears, they make her look sooo cute.
methos1978 on May 4, 2006 at 1:01 AM
Michelle and company are working hard and giving us a lot of good information. They are doing their part to make this a better country by giving us an accurate view of what is taking place. There is a lot to be outraged about.
Now it is up to us DO our part as well as talk about what is going on. Investing in the campaigns of “right” minded candidates can pay off multiples in lower taxes and a better country.
The opposition is spending a lot of effort and money to gain their goals. If we think we can stop them by just agreeing amongst ourselves that they are wrong — they win.

Long Post Alert:
The day of the Illegal Immigration protests, and the two days following have been remarkable.
A common theme you can read in the Headlines that follow is that of “Backlash” – pointing to the less-than-spectacular impact of the protest; and the damage the protests did to both the image and the causes of the protestors.
Another theme, one which I do not see well-covered in the Headlines, is what I call the reserve of the American People. We allowed this event to take place peacefully; there were very few reports of violence, injuries or damage. For that, I am thankful.
One post did note the 280,000,000 who did not take to the streets. Consider for a moment what could have happened if it were not for the America Peoples’ reserve.
A word to those who might equate reserve with tolerance: don’t.
Americans understand this is a complex issue. Given to our strength both in numbers and in arms we can afford to be reserved.
Those who may be encouraged to ratchet up the noise-level would be wise to heed this advice: Don’t. When the tipping point or our reserve is reached, our lack of reserve will be difficult to withstand.
Right now, America clings to a glimmer of hope that our elected officials will act in accordance with our wishes to secure the borders and enforce the laws of the country. If our elected officials fail to act, it will bring the tipping point closer.
Americans may then ask, “If our laws are not honored, then which other laws should be broken to counter the threat of foreign invasion and restore the country to its Citizens?” After all, “Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.”
Like I said, “Don’t.”

“Fired on American troops in Texas…”
A clarification, as the question that comes to mind is, what were said troops doing in Texas.
Texas had declared independence and had petitioned the Congress to become a US Territory. Santa Anna sent an ultimatum to the Congress, threatening war if said petition was ok’d. In those days, the Congress actually had courage, and the threat resulted in overwhelming approval of the petition. Hence the presence of US troops. In other words, Texas was no longer a part of Mexico when our troops were sent there.

NRA4Freedom - That’s the problem. What is needed is enforcement. Right now there are too many incentives to stay and no one to make them leave when they are supposed to. “Guest worker” programs won’t make the problem any better, especially if we don’t enforce them diligently. Even then, a certain amount of assimilation should be required.
Jezla on May 4, 2006 at 10:52 AM
USCitizen has it right:
“Those who may be encouraged to ratchet up the noise-level would be wise to heed this advice: Don’t. When the tipping point or our reserve is reached, our lack of reserve will be difficult to withstand.”
I had the same thought myself last night. The illegal alien protests have angered an awful lot of people. Americans will tolerate a lot of crap, but at some point public sentiment will tip, and woe be to those foolish enough to have brought this upon themselves.
Oh, and if you haven’t seen it yet, try to catch Carlos Mencia on Comedy Central (even though I’m still pissed at CS’s duplicitous dhimmitude) and hear his take on the situation. It’s brilliant and hits the situation right on the head.
And something else that needs to be said; thank God that spectacularly Gifted non-whites are rallying to endorse and defend our heritiage. Can you imagine the outrage if any white person actually stood up and said the exact same things as Michelle and Carlos are saying so forcefully?
And that reminds me… where the hell is Dennis Miller anyway? Maybe Michelle could try to arrange a guest spot for a real live uncensored Miller rant here on HotAir in the near future.
We need strong voices and action by our people. Most of our population is living the American Dream… Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, and well they should. But they also need to look around and outside their private lives a bit and become aware of just how far things have gotten out of balance.
