How can it possibly be that the “worst country in the world” is also the one everyone wants to join? We hear so much about the “great” healthcare system of Cuba. Why aren’t people turning old Chevys into rafts and setting sail from the Florida Keys, toward Cuba?

Why aren’t more people sneaking across the border into Mexico? Why aren’t critically ill people being flown into Europe for brain surgery, heart surgery, cancer treatment? Why do people flock into the US for their education?

We need to ask these questions more often and more LOUDLY. And we need to stop being the doormat for the rest of the world.

I wonder how the politicians and and other pro-illegal immigrant people would feel if major corporations were to start hiring thousands of illegal immigrant engineers, systems analysts, programmers, nurses, mathematicians; well, you get the idea. There are plenty of highly skilled, well-educated Indians, Chinese, and eastern Europeans who would love to come to the US without having to go through the time-consuming and frustrating paperwork which accompanies getting a green card.

I wonder what kind of wages these folks would be willing to work for in order to have a chance to come to the United States? This would be a huge opportunity for employers to lower the wages of in-demand professions.

If we give in to the demands of the open borders people, and have what amounts to unlimited illegal immigration, what’s to stop Microsoft, Exxon, GE, or any other company from hiring as many illegal immigrant engineers, etc as they can. Why not help bring these folks over?

I’ll tell you why not. Can you imagine the hell that would break loose if this kind of thing happened in large numbers and so out in the open. It’s one thing for Tyson Chicken to hire unskilled illegals to work in their factories and quite another, thank you, for Exxon to hire an illegal immigrant Indian engineer. That would be taking a job from, and lowering the wages of the upper middle class. The MSM would be beside itself. Why, the next thing that might happen is that they’ll be bringing Indian cameramen, and technicians, and maybe *gasp* writers over.

Remember the hell that was raised when tech companies whated to raise the number of visas for computer programmers because they said that there were not enough Americans and legal immigrants to fill those jobs. I can’t remember what the actual visa was called. H-something — I’m too lazy to look it up. And this was a request to bring people in legally.

It’s ok to lower the wages of and/or take jobs from Americans and legal immigrants in the low wage job sector, but quite another thing to do the same to the high wage sector.

It doesn’t seem fair. I’d hate to have my family in the same situation as those who relie on wage earners in jobs who have to compete with a constant and growing influx of illegals. It must be frustrating to watch these demonstrations and even more frustrating to watch employers be so upfront about supporting non-enforcement of our immigration laws so they can have continued access to cheap labor.

We need to make sure we don’t put any more people in local, state or national offices with this ideology. Listen to Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Susan Sarandon, ad infinitum and realize that all of them come from money or made money and then found their “cause”: socialism. It started long before the 60’s and garnered strength throughout the last 40+ years. They have allowed or used their power to destroy what they couldn’t change and look where we have ended up today. Lord help us!

SPREAD THE WORD and lets show the world that you can’t threaten our LAWS, our ECONOMY or our PATRIOTISM in our own backyard!!!

No surprises here. This could very well come to pass, as I believe G.W. is on the wrong side or weak position of the issue. I just could not believe that he is ignoring the country’s demand that the following be done:

Build the wall across the border. This needs to be done before anything else to stem the illegal invasion of our country.
Penalize employers for employing illegal workers. Such employers are addicted to cheap labor, promoted unfair competition, stifled fair compensation, and retarded technological advances that could make us competitive without heavy reliance on labor.
Deport those who are here illegally. Anarchy is sired when lawbreakers are tolerated. The country must bite the bullet on this one to preserve the integrity of our laws. A systematic deportation program for the 12 million who are here must start now no matter if it takes three, four, five years, to do.
Stop all incentives that promote illegal migration. Immigration law and enforcement need to be fixed as it is broke.

The party that supports the above actions will be rewarded by American voters come 2006 and 2008.

I voted for GWB but I am sick and tired of his refusal to enforce the laws of this country. I think it is high time that GWB be impeached.

He has had almost 5 years to enforce the Immigration laws yet he continues to order the DHS to stand down. He took swore an oath to enforce the Constitution. He has done everything he can to cause the invasion from Mexico. It is estimated that 10,000 a day cross the border and he refuses to do anything meaningful to stop it.

I say impeach GWB, I am fed up with his “Jobs Americans Will not Do”, What about the job we elected him to do?

I live in Southern California which is turning into a third world cesspool while GWB wants to give these criminals Amnesty and this will encourages even more to come.

We need to:
Build a fence
Put the military on the border
Fine Employers like Tyson
Scrap the EOIR system
Deport Illegals as we find them.

No Amnesty No Guest Workers and Impeach Bush.

By the way, have any of you heard the drive-by-media labeling this as “President Bush’s immigration quagmire”? It is sure to come pretty soon!

Tyson foods is a major employer of immigrants of all stripes in the State of Arkansas and beyond. It’s becoming very difficult to boycott Tyson….they’re into everything on a national scale. That original investment in Bill and Hillary has paid off far better than her cattle futures venture.

I’m my humble opinion if you do neither you will not have all the information on this issue you need to battle the likes of Javiar, President Bush, the Catholic Church, and big business. Please participate in both.

May 1st I buy for the economy- May 5th I Refuse to do buiness with any company that serves illegals of ANY nationality.

When all this take to the streets nonsense 1st started, I had some sympathy for the immigrants and favored some kind of path to citizenship. That was then.
This is now. How dare you thugs enter this country and try to tell the citizens how to run …….
