Donald Trump, frontrunner in Republican presidential polls and the alpha and omega of American conservatism at this strange moment in time, will be Chuck Todd’s lead guest on “Meet the Press.” (Todd’s second guest: The populist who’s wrecking the establishment in the other party right now, Bernie Sanders.)

Lots of other interesting people on the menu today, actually. Carly Fiorina and Ben Carson, the two biggest risers in post-debate polls, are both slated for “This Week,” as is Benghazi committee chairman Trey Gowdy, who’ll be on to discuss Hillary Clinton’s incredible disappearing e-mails. John Kasich, currently challenging Jeb Bush for establishment supremacy in New Hampshire and therefore the media’s new favorite for RINO Most Likely To Succeed, will appear on “Face the Nation” and “State of the Union.” Also guesting on “State of the Union” with Jake Tapper: Josh Alcorn, a former senior advisor to Beau Biden who just moved over to the “Draft Biden” Super PAC to get operations ready in case Diamond Joe decides to jump into the presidential campaign. If any news is going to be made this morning, he’s the guy most likely to make it. The full line-up is at the AP.
