Open thread: Sunday morning talking heads

The Hillary Death Star should be fully operational within the next few hours, just a bit too late for saturation coverage on this morning’s Sunday shows. That’ll have to wait until next week. Today’s topic du jour is the Iran deal, which the White House is intent on selling to voters even though there’s no meaningful “deal” to speak of. John Kerry will be on “Meet the Press,” “Face the Nation,” and “This Week” to preview his plan to spend the next three months trying to swallow this sh*tburger and reach a final agreement by June 30th. If that’s not enough reason to tune in, Rand Paul will also be on “Face the Nation” and “This Week” (as well as “State of the Union”) to answer the very important question of whether America can survive having a president who’s curt with the media.

I’ll be watching “This Week,” although not for Kerry or Paul but for Mike Lee, who’s partnered with presidential contenders Paul, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio on initiatives during his time in the Senate. Whom does he favor in 2016? I doubt he’ll end up endorsing anyone but the tea leaves in today’s interview will be fun to read. Especially since the actual 2016 Republican nominee, Mitt Romney, is also booked this morning. He’ll be on “Fox News Sunday,” hopefully to announce his surprise candidacy. The full line-up is at the AP.
